Tixee is a CFD trading platform that has grown in popularity since it was established in 2020. This trading review goes over the broker’s account types, app downloads, sign-in process, minimum deposits and withdrawal methods, as well as an overview of its pros and cons. Find out if our expert traders recommend opening a live account with Tixee.com.

What Is Tixee?

Tixee is an online trading brokerage that launched in 2020. The company’s headquarters are located in Cyprus but the platform is international, thus it is available in the majority of countries, including the UK. 155,000+ traders have opened accounts in 115+ countries.

Tixee offers a diverse and flexible trading platform with leveraged CFDs and spreads that vary by account type, suiting both beginners and experienced investors. Over 220 instruments are available, alongside four live accounts and several trading platforms.

Tixee holds licenses with the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), the Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA), and the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA). The company is not regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Trading Platforms

MT4 & MT5

Tixee gives traders the option of both MT4 and MT5, two of the most popular trading platforms. Traders can advance their strategies using complex tools while the platforms remain user-friendly for beginners. Clients can trade on a wide range of assets from forex to cryptos and futures. Both platforms also support automated trading and expert advisors, so traders can build strategies that align with their goals.

MT4 is the most popular platform, but MT5 offers improved market depth. MT5 also offers more advanced trade analysis, so users can access an effective set of tools to help them to make more informed trades.

Web Trader

Tixee also offers its own Web Trader platform, a solution that offers many of the same advantages as MT4 and MT5. The design of the Web Trader platform is simple to use, with vital information that’s easy to view, and a one-click execution option.

It also offers comprehensive charts that facilitate the use of 116 trading indicators, 37 drawing tools, 9 timeframes and a variety of chart types such as candles, bars, and lines. A range of order types are available too, such as market orders, limit orders and stop orders.

However, the browser terminal does not offer automated trading, so users interested in these features should use MetaTrader.

Simple Trader

Tixee also offers a trading platform made specifically for beginners called Simple Trader. This is to help new traders get up to speed with online investing.

The platform retains all essential features, with both desktop and mobile compatibility, one-click trading, multiple trade execution modes and a range of technical indicators.

Assets

Tixee offers more than 220+ instruments in the following asset classes: forex, stocks, indices, metals, energies, commodities and cryptocurrencies and presents an above-average selection of each. This is broken down into:

  • 58 currency pairs
  • 8 commodities
  • 143 stocks
  • 5 indices
  • 7 cryptocurrencies

More than half of the instruments are CFD stocks which come with relatively high spreads.

Fees

Tixee’s fees are above the industry average, but they vary between asset classes, so some fees are more competitive than others. Commissions and fees also depend on the kind of account you choose to open.

Spreads start from 1.5 pips and 1.2 pips on the Entry and Standard accounts. The Premium account offers spreads from 0.8 pips while the VIP account offers zero-pip spreads alongside a $6 commission per lot.

Tixee does not charge for deposits and withdrawals, so third-party fees are the only thing to look out for.

There is an inactivity fee of $10 per month if your account has not been used in over one year.

Leverage Review

The leverage offered by Tixee is between 1:200 and 1:1000 depending on the account type which is high considering 1:30 is the highest ‘safe’ leverage according to the FCA.

Leverage is one of the most important things to consider when trading CFDs as it determines your market exposure. Leverage is what allows traders to take bigger market positions with less capital; it allows you to increase your profits, but poses a larger risk on losing trades.

Mobile Apps

Tixee offers its own mobile application that is available to download on the Apple App Store or Google PlayStore which allows traders to make full use of the broker’s services from anywhere. From the app, investors can:

  • Trade from charts
  • Open and close positions
  • Buy and sell all Tixee CFD classes
  • Utilise multiple technical indicators
  • Zoom and scroll on charts
  • Check real-time rates

App access can be done easily through your login details for the desktop or download platform.

Tixee Payment Methods

Tixee offers 23 methods for depositing funds, such as bank wire transfer, credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard and Maestro, as well as a variety of e-wallet options like Skrill, Neteller and VirtualPay. There are no hidden fees for depositing or withdrawing funds.

Processing for deposits via credit cards, debit cards, wire transfers, Neteller, Skrill and VirtualPay is instant. Withdrawals for some e-wallet companies take up to 48 hours such as PayR and ZotaPay, while other transfers like SEPA and Swift take 3-5 business days. The minimum withdrawal for all payment methods is 10 USD.

Traders can choose between currencies on all account types from GBP, USD, and EUR.

How To Trade

Opening an account with Tixee is simple. Here is a step-by-step guide for how to sign in and begin trading with Tixee.com:

  1. Navigate to their website and select “Start Trading”.
  2. Complete the registration form by filling in your name, email and contact number and then click “access my account” to receive a confirmation email; alternatively, you can have them call you with your account details. Both of these will verify your account.
  3. Provide a document for identity verification; a clear and in-colour copy of a passport, driver’s license, ID card, or proof of residence such as a utility bill or bank statement.
  4. Once you have done this you will have login details for the broker and can choose to trade on their demo account or trade with real funds.

Demo Account

Tixee offers a free demo account for traders who want to test the platform without using real funds. Demo accounts can be used to see how the platform works, particularly for beginner traders and those switching from another platform.

The paper trading account comes with $10,000 in virtual funds.

Bonuses & Deals

Tixee offers a rebate deposit bonus of up to $50,000, and the rebate represents a different percentage amount of the deposit depending on the account that the trader opens:

  • Entry Account: 30%
  • Standard Account: 50%
  • Premium Account: 70%
  • VIP Account: 100%

Tixee also offers withdrawal rebates on every round-turn position that is opened. These rebates are proportional and equal to:

  • Two account units for every lot traded on forex currencies
  • Two USD per each lot of commodities
  • Two USD per every 10 lots of indices up to $10,000

Although the amounts are listed in USD, Tixee funds rebates in the units that your account uses – either GBP or EUR – without rate conversions.

Tixee Regulation

Tixee is regulated by three bodies: the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), Financial Services Authority Seychelles (FSA), and Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA). This speaks to the platform’s legitimacy.

The reason for multi-regulation is that Tixee operates across three separate entities, all in different parts of the world: GVD Kormicy LTD (regulated by CySEC), GVT Kormiza (PTY) LTD (regulated by FSCA), and Pipbull Ltd (regulated by FSA).

Note, different regulators offer different levels of protection. Compliance between the three entities can differ in line with the financial regulations of the region in which they are based, so be aware of the difference this can make to leverage, negative balance protection and login security.

On the downside, the brokerage is not regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Additional Tools

Education

The educational resources offered by Tixee are impressive. Tixee has an excellent range of educational resources under the ‘News & Analysis’ section of its website. There is also a comprehensive FAQ section which is perfect for getting started.

Where they stand out, however, is through their educational course that is offered after you open an account. This can be accessed through your dashboard and comes with videos on technical analysis with quizzes at the end for traders to test their knowledge.

Overall the platform is perfect for beginners as the information is focused on trading basics. However, Tixee is still a good option for experienced traders, given the wide range of tools, and some information aimed at more advanced investors. This means if you are looking to advance your knowledge and make more complex trades then you can still learn about investing in CFDs or futures as a next step.

Research Tools

Tixee offers a wide range of research tools that make trading easier. In total, there are six tools available: Trading Central Analysis, Live Market Reports, Economic Calendar, Financial Market News, Insights and TixeeLive (Webinars).

All of these aim to make your trading more informed and successful for both beginners and more experienced investors.

Social Trading

Tixee provides a service for beginner investors called Social Trading, an easy-to-use platform that allows less experienced traders to perfect their strategy in a safe way. Users can either provide strategies for traders, or follow the strategies of others. This allows beginners to grow their profit by copying what other successful investors are doing.

The platform comes with leaderboards of the most successful traders with in-depth data on their strategies so traders can choose the best provider for them.

This service benefits both beginner and experienced traders as rookies can learn from the success of others, while experienced investors can earn up to 20% in performance fees for teaching others.
