Kwakol Markets is ranked #50 among CFD brokers. AETOS is ranked #91 among CFD brokers.
Kwakol have recently frozen a large number of accounts with little or no reason given to clients. This has included removing the ability to make withdrawals. We cannot advise joining Kwakol at this time.
Kwakol Markets is a Nigerian headquartered broker with strong regulatory oversight in Australia and Canada. A great selection of trading assets are available, including synthetic products that simulate realistic market activity. Clients can trade on the MT4, MT5 and cTrader platforms, as well as a copy trading solution whereby a fee is only paid on profitable trades.
Aetos is an international forex and CFD broker founded in 2007. Headquartered in Sydney, the broker is licensed by the ASIC, FCA and VFSC and has a global client base in over 100 countries. The firm offers the MetaTrader 4 platform and the minimum deposit to get started is $50.
Pros
  • Kwakol Markets offers a comprehensive charting environment for active traders, including 70+ pre-installed indicators in cTrader
  • All third-party terminals support trading bots which will serve experienced algo traders
  • You can access 1000+ short-term investments, including cryptos and synthetic products
  • There are excellent market research tools available to support trading decisions, including the Acuity Expert Advisor and AutoChartist
  • There's a wide range of free learning resources for beginners, including an eBook, online courses and a Telegram community channel
  • I’m happy with the broker’s regulatory status, with top-tier licensing from the UK’s FCA and ASIC. This means traders can access compensation schemes and negative balance protection
  • High leverage is available for experienced traders at the Australian branch, up to 1:200. I also found MAM and PAMM accounts are available for eligible money managers
  • Beginners should appreciate the free $10,000 demo account and I like that there’s also a copy trading solution for those who want to follow the strategies of others
  • Alongside the trusted MT4 terminal, I was pleased to see the AutoChartist market analysis and signals tool available for clients
Cons
  • There's a limited range of funding methods, with just bank transfers, card payments, and PayPal available - many top brands like AvaTrade offer 10+ methods
  • You must deposit at least $10,000 to access the best trading conditions
  • The only base currency available is USD
  • I’m a little disappointed in the small range of assets available at Aetos, with even fewer markets available for UK clients. I would have liked to see a wider range of currency pairs and shares, for example
  • The demo account has a time limit of just 14 days, which I don’t feel is enough for beginners to get acquainted with the platform and test out their first strategies
  • It would have also been nice to see a wider choice of platforms for clients and perhaps a bespoke solution

Copy Trading Platform
Kwakol Invest continues to offer straightforward copy trading, connecting newbies with experienced traders. The leaderboard makes it easier to find suitable strategy providers with insights into the number of followers, total returns and more. You also only pay a fee on profitable positions, making the service more affordable than some competitors. Aetos offers a proprietary copy trading solution which allows you to save time and automatically copy the trades of other users. You can view useful profitability stats of each 'master' trader before subscribing, and I like that parameters including stop loss and take profit are flexible.

CFD
CFDs are available on a breadth of underlying assets, including stocks, indices, commodities, forex and cryptos. High leverage up to 1:500 is available alongside a 0.01 minimum lot size and award-winning software. For the tightest spreads from 0 pips, opt for the Premium account. CFDs are available to trade manually in the MT4 platform, or via the broker’s copy trading solution which allows you to automatically copy other strategies. I also appreciate that the broker offers a demo account with $10,000 in virtual funds so you can practice CFD trading strategies risk-free.

Forex
Kwakol Markets offers a wider range of forex pairs than most competitors, with 90+ assets available. Users get fast execution speeds and competitive spreads through the ECN model. On the negative side, not all currency pairs are available on MT4. My tests uncovered only 27 currency pairs at Aetos, which is below the industry average. Leverage is available up to 1:200 for Australian clients but I’m not overly impressed with the 1.8-pip average spreads for EUR/USD. Top competitors typically offer the same pair for around 1 pip in a standard-level account.

Cryptocurrency
You can trade cryptos against cryptos, fiat currencies, and even metals like gold. This separates the broker from many alternatives that only offer cryptos paired with the USD. Additionally, with high leverage up to 1:20, Kwakol Markets is a top choice for crypto traders.
